Money or God - Matti Freeman and Fidelis Spies

The latest release from Fidelis Spies and Matti Freeman is a MUST DOWNLOAD - you will definitely want to play this song over and over.

The track has an 80's synth pop sound to it - reminds me of depeche mode - but with an updated feel. It's a catchy song that makes you want to sing along.

The lyrics are great - exposing the fact that it is in fact money that is required for survival in this world. Faith in God doesn't actually sustain anyone in a practical way, because, after all, we live in a physical reality and one's access to money determines what resources one has access to.

The song's refrain, "What are we livin' for? What keeps me alive? What are we fighting for...Why is life a strife?" is powerful and catchy and supports the listener to consider the common sense that unless we consider the physical needs of all Equally and create a system that supports those needs in a way that is Best for All we will continue fighting and life will continue to be all Strife.

When you consider that there are plenty of resources for all to live without fear of survival, one has to stop and ask why are we fighting and struggling? (see: Secrets of Competition for further perspective) What are we living for if it is not to change this world and ourselves to live in a way that is Best for All (see Best for All as Equality for more perspective)?

I can only describe the sound as EPIC - combining the deep resonant vocals of Matti Freeman with the production expertise of Fidelis Spies of Robot Virgins, this song serves as an anthem for a new world and a new system based on Equality as what is Best for All.

What I like most about this song is the orchestral, almost symphonic sound with synthesizers, horns and deep bass that resonates the message of Equality.  I suggest you blast this song in your car or on a nice pair of speakers with good bass. You won't be disappointed! =)

I Wanna Get Stoned - Viktor Persson

This week's featured album is 'I Wanna Get Stoned' by Viktor Persson. You can find him on youtube under ViktorHansEmanuel and on facebook.

(click the image to NOW download from the Equal Life Shop)

First off, this is not (despite the title) an album supporting drug use, LOL. The album takes its name from the second track, a great song about the desire to escape reality and fear of death through drugs. This is a great track, very chill, mellow with acoustic and electric guitar, effected to sound almost like one of those 60's style organs.

Other highlights, or should I say personal fav's are Life's Call - which has this total change of sound in the last 2 minutes of the track which reminds me of late 90's U2 from some reason but with Viktor's distinctive voice calling us to 'Accumulate what is Best for All' over droning guitar and electronic drum beat.

Another cool track is 'No More Love Jesus' which has this cool distorted blues guitar riffing behind Viktor's driving lyrics - reminds of The Rolling Stones with a little of The Cramps thrown in.

This album is really great because there is a mix of styles from the chilled out Jack Johnson style of "I wanna get stoned' to the Rolling Stones distorted dirty blues and harmonica of 'No More Love Jesus' to the Bass Blowing heavy hitting Mega Track "We All got a Choice" - this album Rocks!

You can NOW DOWNLOAD from the Equal Life Store and Support the Artist and the Equal Life Foundation - nothing is free in this world, but you can NOW make sure that your money goes to creating a system that is Best for All!

Described as
A Tribute to the original song 'Matti Freeman – Amazing Disgrace' this Remix brings a new Feel and Revealing once again the Powerful message of How we as humanity have become a Disgrace.

Personally I really liked the original version by Matti Freeman, however this new remix by Robot Virgins adds a new dimension giving it a bigger, more electronic sound. If you like a heavy beat and bass, then you will definitely dig this new remix.  The piano break halfway into the song gives it an almost tender quality with haunting synth sweeps underneath giving contrast to Matti's scathing rap vocals, which gives one the sense of the desperation and inner sadness that one feels when looking at the situation we have created on this earth. It's not often that one gets a self-honest, common sense look at our world through music, but this song does just that. And the production is top notch, definitely some of Fidelis' (of Robot Virgins) best work.

Download this song today and spread it, because the more each of us wake up and actually support each other to change the closer we are to actually changing this world to one that is Best for All.
